Reviews for "BioLabs: Outbreak!"

good

Nice idea for a game, its fresh and new but got bored at level 14

Too Addicting

Great game to play when your sick because you feel like you actually have control over killing the virus and getting better. They are starting to do studies with cancer patients and this type of video game to see if there is a cognitive aspect to healing. Its called RE-Mission I believe.

It has lots of potential

This game has quite the potential to be a good game. It just needs some work on it.
Like someone already said, you can win the level by just filling the screen with antidote, there's no thinking needed to win. The levels are repetitive, every level is very similar to the previous one, and the only difference is that there's another virus to go against your random screen filling.
I find this idea very interesting if worked on a bit more; it could turn out to be a great game!

Interesting idea

but it's let down by very bad balancing. Pretty much every level is won by randomly filling the screen with the biggest vaccine bubbles you can, with no thought to actually trapping the outbreak, or anything vaguely tactical. And interestingly, it becomes easier with every level.

Every new level adds one new virus, and because this one virus takes up screen space, you need less and less vaccine to perform the winning tactic of filling up the screen.

The best thing you could have done was turn it into a sort of puzzle game, with immobile shapes and very limited vaccine to trap the virus against said shapes.

Addicting

Made it to level 51, and still playing! Only issue is, is sometimes I go to click, and it doesn't start the antidote cell. It could just be my mouse. Awesome game!
