This is a wonderful piece.
My only quibble is with the plaque. Yes, I know it's intentional, but even with the reflective streaks put in, it still blends in too much with the background. However, that could be just my personal tastes, and not a flaw I've derived from any objective analysis.

i first lay down the lines in sketchbook pro at 300 dpi, then i color it in photoshop, but the thing that really helps the image is overlaying textures on top to make it look more varied. i specifically use plaster textures from cgtextures.com.
this one took a bit longer cause i painted it so big, but i'd say around 5 solid hours when all is said and done which is close to the longest i've ever spent on a piece.

I really like this.One of my favourite pictures.It is very simualer to all of the other knights( the castle crashers) but his helmet is kinda bigger and shynier.Anyway The Behemoth pretty much rulez !!!!!

thanks so much for the super high score pal! :D yeah i did push the style of the helmet on this guy. the original 4 knights were basically a warm up for this dude. and the behemoth DOES rule! no truer words were ever spoken.
