this was pretty danm good! i liked the graphics and the way you worked around the absoulte boredom the original pong gave...Nice Job!

Really good but...
The game was really good the only problem i saw though was when playing in 1 player mode, use still could use one of the arrow keys for the computer.

It's pretty good, some music and SFX would make it somewhat better.

Later on, consider the poor users that have to use 800x600 resolution. Other than that, this is a good game. NOT awesome, but still pretty dang good.
Oh, and consider changing a couple of things to add transparency.
for your first game......
this is really quite good. Definately stand out from the crap storm of first games that usually comes through the portal.
The only improvement that I can think of is to make the paddels move faster and somehow make it so that angled hits are easier - the ball was hard to ricochet off the walls
