No, No, No! Speed the game up a bit... that was painful... was a great game as well... also alter the damage to the castle... was killed a secod before God Armour came in and n couldn't stop them destroying the castle in the timer...

Really great and addictive game!
As some others before me said though, you should add a defending option instead of running when you use the sword attacks. Also I found it quite annoying that you can't know when your shield is going to disappear.

This game has been created very well. The animations and artwork put into it look nice and each monster has its own unique look. It shows to other Flash writers.
The things that really work well for this is how you are forced to play the game. If you are smart enough you can figure out how to not die at all and have the castle not get attacked once. The spell tree is a nice feature. That, with the spells themselves, means you have to plan what you need to do to survive.
Having other castle guard or towers detrects from the game itself. I like that it isn't a clone of a lot other games. Plus, if they were put in it would be way to hard to actually make it fun, interactive and balanced.
The only things that need improving are the time it takes to play and the requirements. It would be good if you could implament some buttons to make the quality lower or higher. Even though you can change it, it would make it more user friendly. I enjoyed the hour it took me to conquer it. But I don't think I'd play it again, just for that reason. The spell cool-downs are good. But you could reduce them and remove the ten seconds between each attack to help speed up the game. The low point for me was dancing around the monsters while my God Ball recharged.
All in all its simplistic aproach means you can jump into the game without the need to read how to play which is always a bonus. The spells are awesome to use and the monsters fun to kill... and run away from.

as the titel showed, i liked it. untill the part u had to hit enemys like a millionzillion times, ok not that much but anyway it was to much for my thinking. beating the big bosses was easy but very boring, maybe u could change it. also shielding would be a great option to put on the game. everything else was just plain old fun
