Reviews for "Antiskill- Caribbean Sand"

A nice piece

I thank you for this chilling track, I'd say I needed to relax a bit with Trance. I'm no expert of this style, but it's a very good beat. It still sounds pretty minimalist at some points where it seems you struggle to give the track some variance. A second variation on the theme was a nice move to "refresh" things up, but I'd still suggest to work more on different patterns and mini-themes. It ain't "flat", but it ain't stellar either, IMO. You still deserve a 10, though, for not having fallen into generic one-chord soundscapes and attempted to give this track a proper deep atmosphere. :D

YakovlevArt responds:

Yeah, i don't even know how to respond to that one.
But i understand what you mean. I will try to fix these problems in future tracks.
Thanks for the review man =]

I think I said what I needed to say on SoundCloud

Hah that was the most comments I had ever posted on a wavelength in SC before!

Good work though, really good work :D

YakovlevArt responds:

Yeah man, you didn't even need to leave a review.
I can just transfer everything you said on SC to here.
But because you still actually wrote a review and gave me a 10, i thank you.

Intersting

this is a cool song trance alll the way but its to relaxing to listen to trance is a song that bulids up makes you feel good and get you pumped and danceing the last part of you song has that element but before that its to relaxed just because its trance does not mean you can't be aggressive great song though

YakovlevArt responds:

Oh man i know of the many sub-genres of Trance. I was going back and forth between how hard and how soft i wanted to make it. I kind of just made it how i wanted to without paying attention to how hard it was. I guess i was going for a more Uplifting Trance, but not as hard with the Kicks and Basslines. I got a lot of inspiration from "White Sand" by Roger Shaw and "Under the Sun" by Whirlpool.
if you listen to both of those tracks THEY ARE TRANCE, but just not so heavy, if anything they are top notch production and very relaxing, but are still upbeat.

I still understand what you are talking about. You will her more tracks from me that are harder trance. I just wanted a different direction with this one.
