I have tons of practice and I still have issues writing music well, but I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.
Another grand piece indeed
While I've never heard the original song (nor the one this is the cover for) this is certainly an epic piece. Why repetitive in a slight way, it manages to slip past my attention because the changing surrounding to the repeated melody keeps it fresh and enjoyable.
The intro is quite a misleading bit. I mean that in a good way, it gently pulls you towards calm and nice then hangs you with awesomeness. Only gripe is your god damn attitude towards vocals; seriously, you ain't someone who makes songs with vocals, your talents are instrumental and that is what makes you so damn good. So if you plan to have a song with vocals in it, make it with vocals. This song clearly shows how much you don't like vocals in that it doesn't need them and if a song was grand without the vocals then it clearly doesn't need them if you don't feel confident with them.
Continue to be awesome, make some kick ass tunes and in general stop being such a damn bitch over the vocals business because you have a talent for being able to meld those special effects you have with metal which is just godlike in making your music so damn great. Keep it up!

Lol... I think you're the only person who can say that kind of stuff without really offending me.
I know, I'm a bitch about vocal things. It's mostly because I REALLY wish I could do them though. But my goddamn voice was made for deathmetal, making silly accents and... that's about it.
I'm glad you liked the song overall though. I guess I'm not quite falling down into a decaying pit of shitty songwriting yet, huh?

In all honesty I'm usually unimpressed with Zelda music seeing as I'm not a big fan of it in general, but you certainly crushed every sliver of doubt I might have had. I'm glad that I added you as a favorite audio artist long ago so I could catch this piece of you. Looking forward to hear more of your brilliance on here!
