Amazingly Executed
Wow, great game. I must say this game gave me the laughs as well as the action I like in a game. Here is what I think:
Pros:
1.) Loved the idea, cannoncrotch, who would have thought of that one... EVER?
2.) Great background music, loved the song choices.
3.) The cutscenes were neat, and helped to progress the plot and keep gamers from getting bored.
Cons:
1.) No sound effects, with this kind of game sound effects would be easy to do, AND could possibly add to the humor depending on you, the author, if you chose funny sounds.
2.) No save system, with a game this long, or simply with this many enemies thrown at you, you need a save system OR a way to regain lives.
3.) Repetative enemies, and I noticed when you shot them in the leg their nazi arm sleeve would disappear off of their arm as they crouched.
Overall:
Good combination of humor and action, but a few flaws in the game design itself. This may be front page worthy, we will just have to wait and see how the Newgrounds Community takes in CannonCrotch.
