Good Game
I liked this game, it was lots of fun at first. But Mario/bomberman it wasn't. A much better description would be lode runner, which this is nearly a clone of.

honestly not that great...kinda dull. done well enough, but won't appeal to everyone. but its simple enough that its a good play. but i didn't play through to many lvls honestly.

Well this IS an old skool game formula you are emulating. As a game, this works very well, the movement was spot on, except... where was the gravity? Timing those spring jumps was a pain!
I loved the puzzle element and open endedness the game offers but I found the game stale and boring and only got to level 22 before quitting. I cannot see anyone doing the full 500 levels sadly.
I found the music quite enjoyable, it fit the quirky gameplay well. The map editter is a nice touch but it takes forever to build a complete level.
For improvements, you definately need to do something with the gameplay. Add some more features to break up the tedium, an example could be teleports, enemies that fire projectiles or some bosses. Something to look forward to.
