I think he said, "You didn't think we were gonna miss this did you?"
Tikal was supposed to be a super secret character which is why the upoverandgone cheat didn't unlock her. In another version of the game I didn't upload, Mephiles was in the game too.

If I remember rightly it is the Shift Key... just be careful not to press any of the directional keys at the same time as the CTRL as this was done to prevent Flash from skipping forward a frame thus making it possible to cheat. I know a few times I pressed CTRL instead of Shift.
