Besides it, I love it! I haven't slept for 2 days and this song has awaken me! I'm totally checking other songs of you out. ;)

Haha, yeah. We're definitely well aware that most songs we wrote as a fledgling ska band wouldn't really qualify us to be a ska band. We're improving though!

Not Ska, but good regardless
Of course, I would say that about a lot of songs in this category, so it's a hollow fact. It's closer aligned with garage/indie rock and ska-punk, especially based on the drumming style and lack of piano/keyboards.
I must confess, I am a bit of a music nut.

I'll agree, at this point in time (early 2006) we can honestly only very loosely be referred to as Ska. However, you're not allowed to judge based on our drum beats, because Jake is crazy and does whatever the heck he wants on the drums, regardless of what we're playing. :P

Dude, are you spying on me? This song is exactly my life in the past 3 years of high school. This song really makes my day. I was sick, staying home from school, and when I heard this song, I felt so much better and I started singing along. Congrats man, I know my #1 song on Newgrounds now.
