This is a good predecessor to the Newgrounds Pass 3 game. It has most of the key elements from that (except medals obviously) and has some interesting secrets that let you skip levels too. The games in this seem a lot more straightforward than the varied ones in 3, and there are occasional levels that are really complicated for people who don't frequent NG regularly (for example the name of the game and the name of the user, however the user one was at least a clever picture puzzle!)
Still, this is a rather enjoyable game that has you occasionally thinking outside the box for solutions. Good job.
I wish Level 44 would've just been a troll level to spook the player with a high number and maybe stopped at 200 or so. Just a "Gotcha!" kind of prank would have been enough. But 1000... not gonna happen. Because I feel the game's starting to be annoying now, not clever!
A step up from the original - whilst the inconsistent difficulty remains, the puzzles are more creative and finding secrets is more rewarding.
The ending is pretty interesting as well, setting the scene for a much more impactful ending in NG Pass 3. I'm not gonna spoil it here - if you wanna know, reach the end yourself.
