not telling you I can do any better, but still.
Ska should be upbeat! He sounds like he's mumbling...

Decent, but could use some work
I think this is a really solid effort. Nothing too mindblowingly creative but the horns are tight and the music is solid. I think the singer needs to get his voice out of his nose. It's really nasaly and if that's him singing the low parts he should try and sing more in that octave since it's more natural. The recording quality was decent but sometimes things got muddled but a little better mixing would solve that. Overall though, solid effort. I enjoyed it.
Good Ideas, needs more support
Great idea going with the song, but you need more air support, mainly on the trombone and vocals, rythems are good, coordenation and arrangement is great. Recording good, but mixed just a tad muddy at the lower end.

PS, how the heck did you motivate people to get a ska band together, I've been trying it forever.

Ok, I'm a big big fan of ska and you guys definitely compare to some of the greats as far as the music goes. However, I just can't stand the sound of the singer. No offense of course, I'm not dissing you guys or anything. I just honestly feel like he's really off-key at times and just doesn't fit. Also, it was said before and I think I agree, he needs to put more effort into it. But other than the not-so-amazing vocals, you guys are fantastic. And your lyrics are great too.
