My biggest criticism here is that it took too long to get to the story. There was a significant amount of time where I was left going come on, get on with it. Then when it started it was like dating a black dude, it was over before it really began.
Other then that the music and the animation style was pretty good. But you would have had more impact on me had you voice the letter to your dead friend rather then forcing me to read it. If I wanted to read I would have my nose in a book and not on newgrounds.
Overall, I really think that the timeliness of this flash leaves the audience flat. I know I was left feeling so what that was how long ago? Sure, to you it does not feel that way but since you are submitting things for audience approval, you have to think of your audience.
Had this happened in the past couple months, it would have been more moving.
And I do have to say, yeah, even I lost some peep to suicide. Two in fact. Very close friends. But I didn't see the justification in becoming emo over it. In fact it was embracing that mentality which helped my friends to kill themselves.
