Not bad eh?

Anyway, this is really a great game once you get into it. But that's the trouble: getting into it. It takes a long time to fully understand what you're doing - since you can upgrade completely different things in strange ways. For example, you can upgrade already-built weapons individually, or upgrade NEW weapons that haven't yet been built!

The primary weapons were pretty well designed, although I think it would have been better to have had fewer, more powerful upgrades. Upgrading a weapon 270 times is a bit over the top if you ask me...

The layout of the game - i.e. where you can place trees and weapons - was a bit poor in my opinion. You can't really use any tactics on positioning things when everything can be dumped on top of other things! You should have made it a bit clearer where new items can and can not be placed - not necessarily by using a grid, but at least by stopping things getting TOO crammed in together!

At the end of each level, I think it would have been better if you'd included a "what's new?" box, that lists any new enemies, weapons and objects that have been added to the game. Checking for upgrades manually each level was a bit pointless.

By the time I reached level 8, I'd reached the maximum upgrade (230) on the strongest weapon (the lightning bolt) - so I was pretty much unkillable! All I did was stand in the middle shooting everything quickly and planting life trees - so the first 7 levels of the game took about 1-2 hours to complete, but the last 3 levels took about 5 minutes! Very strange...

Oh, also, you should make the "p" button pause the game (instead of having to click "menu").

Great game, and thanks for reading my suggestions :)
(Or at least reading this sentence...)
