Simply Outstanding
It seems many gamers (such as the poster below me) only like games which allow them to blast their way through endless waves of minions without so much as blinking. People have come to crave the easy way out. They like to think they're skilled while in reality games just aren't that hard anymore. Well, The Unfair Platformer reminds us that games should challenge us. They should make us think. They should require dedication. If you get through them without dying several times then they're just too easy. It's games like these that make me want to stay on Newgrounds instead of close Internet Explorer out of boredom.
This game makes Indiana Jones look like child's play. It rivals the Tomb of Horrors module for Dungeons and Dragons. I found myself snickering at my own character as I would fall prey to some trap not once but several times in a row. This game is a work of genius and an underlying twisted sense of humor. The use of signs is ingenius and I especially enjoyed the disappearing blocks, dart traps, and the rolling boulder. My only complaint is that the whole thing wasn't longer.
I'd also like to suggest that a level editor be added. If players could create their own twisted levels and even submit them for others to enjoy, it would take this game to a whole new level.
Thanks for such a great game. Keep up the AMAZING work!!
