Reviews for "Submachine 5: the root"

An amazing series, Keep it coming

When I initially played the first submachine game, The only thing on my mind was to satisfy a sudden craving for room escape games, but as I realized there were more and more to the series, I began to like it.

The story is unexpectedly deep for a puzzle/adventure/(insert type I cannot remember here) game, and I have come to enjoy this cybernetic(ish)-inter-dimensional-unk nown-origins story, I think it will lead up to a climax soon, but if it doesn't, I am happy to ride the story forever if it means playing more of this.

Sadly, I was expecting some things, The puzzles to be more In depth rather than a simple find something and move it to a corresponding room, A hidden note from Mur (there was some presence or another in the first four, why stop there?) and a screamer. (No... Just kidding, Don't try to do that, you may lose fans...)

I would like to see things in the upcoming games, Such as separate puzzles designed for finding the secrets (if you are only using a few these times round, try and make people think for them), and some physical secrets, such as some easter eggs that have no game use but are either comical or informative.

Speaking of comical, I spent a few minutes running the mouse over the ancient room door, laughing (I'm sorry, I think its a nice touch to restrict movement there.)

Well, I think I broke the record for the longest review ever, I apologise for that.
I enjoyed the game very well, and I hope I see many more in the future.

By the way... The series reminds me of the twilight zone, I'll leave you on that note to ponder.

Challenging

Although I'm not good at games like these, it was very fun.

The origin at last

The series of submachine has been awesome, with unique graphics, suspenseful music, and truly amazing gameplay, and this is yet another great submission to it. It isn't the best, I admit, but definitely fills in some holes in the story and proves to be an excellent play.

all 5 secrets

1. behind submachine portal( gray and has 3 places for numbers) once you enter root. click bottom left of portal, go down and click right.
ALL REST ARE IN THE ROOT! THE NUMBERS IN A BOX WILL BE QUARDENENTS( i know alot of words are probly spelled wrong).
2. go to [0.1] go all the way down then left. unscrew the pannel in the lower left.
3. go to [2.0] go in all 3 tubes. press the top buttion on all meters so it points to the right. DONT FORGET THE COIL! charge the coil in [0.1] then plug it in in [0.0] (thats all that plug is used for). go back to [2.0] and press the gray button.
4. go to [0.2] go left till you hit the pipe click the bottom left. DONT FORGET TO TURN THE WEEL ON THE PIPE.
5. once you turn the weel on the pipe go to [2.0]. go through the brick wall. look familer? if not play submachine 2. go left then up. it will be on the chair.
