Reviews for "Sorgen and the Keepers of the Garden"

Man, you don't fuck around, do you? I like the ancient electronic schematics, in what's left of the white canvas.

Sorgen-
From Old High German sorgēn, from Proto-Germanic *surgijaną, ultimately from Proto-Indo-European *swergʰ- ‎(“watch over, worry; be ill, suffer”).
-credit, wiktionary

Interesting that this piece does indeed follow that definition.

Sorgen himself seems to be creating or manipulating unknown energies while in an elevated position, effectively "watching over" his garden and his guardians as he views and considers the galaxies beyond.

His unknown energies are likely being direct towards furthering his agendas, maintaining or defending his garden and seeking further understanding through obvious psychedelic traveling. I'm assuming Sorgen's garden harbors much of what powers his enhanced and ascendant life, putting it atop his list of "worries." I also assume that an ascendant being would have much to "worry" about since its interests now span space, time and perhaps dimension.

As we examine Sorgen himself, much can be inferred about his nature. Horn and goat symbolism indicate demonic affiliation and an evil leaning nature. Skulls radiating forth from his body suggest that he himself spreads or causes death and destruction. The exposed skeleton of his physical structure by default would terrify regular mortals who view him. His heavy use of predatory plants and animals such as snakes and venous flytraps, in addition to two heavily armed guardians clearly illustrates the willingness to inflict damage. So, it is safe to assume that "illness" or "suffering" are included in the tactics that Sorgen uses as he careers around the galaxy inflicting his will.

Completely amazing. Good stuff.
