HAHAHA.
I know those kind of mothers and they complain about their childs later on. Not ecause of a game infliuencing them, but because they spoiled the child too much.
Good critic Phil.

The story reminds me on my self and my favorit game store
its realy funny to buy everyting you want and your only 14 years old
the only thing they want to see is your money ^^
ps. Resident evil 5 uncut is cool on a 50 inch hdtv flatscreen^^
lolz
the M rating stands for MILD, duh...
Oh, I've seen this happen many times. The best time was when the first 50 cent game came out and a mom came to the store and bought it for her 7 year old. She was told why it was rated Mature, but she bought it anyway. She came back three days later with a very bad temper. She couldn't do anything about it because she was told why it was rated like that though...
Its funny because...
My friend's wife went and bought a game for their kid that was rated "M". She didn't know what that meant and when the cashier told her that might be bad for her son, she said, "Well Its my descision whats right for my son." She went back the next day and registered a complaint on how "the cashier didn't say anything about the games rating or how bad it was". The game was GTA 4 and that cashier got fired I believe. So I find this very funny.
