Tuning is Drop B ^^ Not very low, I'd like to buy a 7 strings guitar one day, just to be able to tune it in A# ahah, I can't do it with my actual guitar as I play in another band, where we're all in drop B :(

All I can say is that it would be even better if the opening busted out with a sweet growl (or some sort of scream)... Or transitioned the sample to sound like she just busts out screaming out of nowhere.
Also, judging from the title of the song, I'll guess World God Only Knows..?

Well at first I wanted to start the vocals by a scream at 0:10, I've even written some lyrics.
Still now my tastes have changed, I took to long to record the vocals and now I'm not as into this song as I way back then :(

Very tight
It sounds great. Great quality. I love it when people on Newgrounds are able to make high quality music and make it sound as tight as this. It's real refreshing and inspiring.
Quality aside, this sounds commercial. Serious. It's not boring, it's good. It's very good in fact. I myself am a supporter of technical metal and that stunt you pulled at 2:20 was very interesting. But it fits, in a bizarre and fantastic way. My point is that this sounds like what most popular bands churn out, and that's a great thing. You can write catchy music and in a way I'm jealous because I'm trying to go into this same alley but I hope I'll be able to perfect it as well you do at home. (unless you have a studio or recorded somewhere nice, then f*ck you haha*)
I LOVED the sampling. It worked in a weird way, and I don't like anime, in fact i quite loathe it haha.
The only reason you get a 9 is because the breakdown at the end while being catchy and well produced seemed to start abruptly out of nowhere. I wish there was a more intense build up.

Ahahah thanks a lot! Well I don't know about sounding commercial, in fact this song is nearly 2 years old already, and back then I didn't know many bands doing this sort of songs. It's true that nowadays it has become more and more popular, but back then I don't remember myself being influenced by lots of bands. Anyway, I'm gonna reassure you, yes it's self produced ahah, I don't have enough money to buy myself studio setions x) I used my old Toneport UX1, Superior Drummer 2.0 and Broomstick Bass (didn't have a bass back then :( ).
And about the part at 2:20, well I don't like it that much anymore ahah, it feels too abrupt in my opinion and shatters the overall mood of the song. As for the breakdown at the end like you said.
Anyway, thanks a lot for your review! But if you found this song too commercial, well I don't think you're gonna like my next ones, they are even more "commercial" ahah, less messy, more structured and stuff. Well you'll see for yourself^^
