Big things that needs to be pointed out.
Budai is also known as "The Laughing Buddha." so buddha and Budai are the same mythical person, they both derive from the same chinese religion. also with your buddha, only occasionally he will be blue due to the statue color. in any painting or text he is not Blue. so you could actually pull it of as him being Shiva/ Vishnu, because he is always blue.

Very Good Idea
Lol. I remember playing this game when it first came out and I still get a kick out of this. This actually would make a good platform game with the proper story and and insight. I really loved the idea of pitting religions against each other in a fighting game mode because ppl pit religions against each other everyday. I never got offended but since I'm christian I only use Jesus and God. I love Jesus's holy ghost and turn the other cheek attack. Lol, that was smart. God looks like a pissed off santa with awesome "THUNDAR!" attacks. This might have been been a quick joke game but it's quite enjoyable and has a deeper meaning then what it seems. The only problem with this is the special moves are sometimes annoying to exucute and more characters couldn't hurt:)

I think the idea, though reused, is done very well. I love how the censored version is just a black circle over Muhammad's face. Thanks for including him in the game. I understand that Muslims can be bitchy about Muhammad, but what they never seem to understand is that Jesus and God are parodied too, and you don't see the Jews and Christians killing people.
