Intriguing
A solid first entry in what promises to be a standout series on Newgrounds. The art/animation was, for the most part, great with the exception of the few odd hiccups now and then (some of the running animation looked a bit disjointed, the ray gun looked pretty tacky). I loved the character design and the overall feel of the show; it was great to see how you took some of the conventions of the horror genre and made them your own.
The voice actors delivered believable performances that suited the characters perfectly, but the sometimes cheesy dialogue held the audio back (particularly for the unusually upbeat Ghoul Girl).
If you push the action angle a bit more, extend the length of future episodes, work on the writing, and add subtitles you should have all the makings of a classic series. I look forward to future episodes in the Hyrde series.
