Great song, man. Pretty damn thrash-like. But if you ask me, it sounds better without vocals... :P
Unless they're 'clear' vocals, but as you said it's viking metal i suppose you use grunts, right? Well, i'm fine with both and i'm waiting to see the final piece, and headbang to it while i try to learn the lyrics.

As for being repetitive... the song was an unfinished piece. The "repetitive" part is where words go. Tell me: If there were no repetitions in songs... where would one distinguish a chorus from a verse? Music is about repetition.
