realy good flash that is trying to make sense of a complex time in Russia
noted that the flash dosent take the side of Communism but insted takes the side of Socialism when in fact USSR did a good job at making Socialism and communism
into one govermant with out useing facism which was a hard thing but when you think about it many russians wanted a cap govermant which was imposable acording to the govermant
anyway enough complex crap
I found that the flash dident realy look into there "Socialist World Republic"
but in the end realy good flash

i respectfully disagree with you, socialism is not a suitable way to rule humanity aaaand thats why USSR is no more :(
i dont believe 'just equal rights', i believe protecting peace and i think if there will be a civilization developed to rule all, that will be the one gathers everybody with less fighting ^^
from my point of view USSR is the third most kickass country in the world because they caused the cold war as much as capitalists do. if they were tried to innovate and merge people maybe that flash would become a reality but they chosse to crush their enemies with weapons and loud marches ...
but i love the idea aaaand the flag ^^
p.s: yeh USSR is responsable of the chaos brought by cold war as much as USA but their weaponary and 'loud marches' are still kickass, i'm a fan of every one of 'em ^^

I watched it just now, after almost half a year of not watching it and I think the message is clear.
The song mentions fascists attacking Soviet Union, clearly referring to the second World Wars, saying that an attack against Soviet Union is like an attack at the revolution itself, an attack against people and therefore everyone should come to defend it from fascist attacks.
I have build up on the song and I show more of a timeline, starting with the Russian Revolution and the Civil War, where USA, UK, Japan and France invaded Russia to defeat the socialist revolution, because they feared a revolution in their own countries as well and/or wanted to gain influence in that territory.
This is nothing new, afterall when the revolution in France happened, Germany, Russia and other countries attacked France because they wanted to prevent this young republic to expand their ideology, because that would mean monarchies would fall and give in to republics. Within a hundred years, most monarchies have already fallen.
My movie later shows how USSR is defending against the fascist invasion and in the end, as the song mentions, the whole world will unite to become a socialist republic (and since there is only one country, there will be no wars) and a new era of humanity begins.
A person cannot be a capitalist unless he believes that exploiting people for profit is an acceptable thing which can be done.
The very definition of a successful capitalist is to make the biggest profit with the least input, in other words: The more you exploit other people, the more you are a successful capitalist.
Hail Communism-or is it Socialism?
The thing is very well animated. I didn't like the fact that is was a musical. I thought, when I clicked on the flash, that it was going to be a documentary of sorts. However, it woudn't have done as good if it wasn't a musical. That is not the same message.
Another thing I'm nitpicking here is the fact that it is in German. When you think of Communism/Socialism the first country you think of is Russia. Now this flash is probably set in the time when Russia or the USSR was still in Communism. So then why isn't it in Russian? I'm sure you could have gotten a Russian person to do this.
I mean look at Nightwayfarer. (S13.) This flash does highlight the other side. Here in America, we always see the same anti-communism side of the battle. Even when trying to watch old ones I cannot find the other side of it. This one however, in a strange way, does show that other side. I think it would work better if you did show both sides, but then nothing is Un-biased.
That is too say there is no neutral thing to put in both sides. Because if someone who is pro-american tries to put in the other side that's not his. It will end up leaning towards his side more. And if you got the two opposite people, it woudn't have been great. Good flash though!
