Mmm...koopas
It is a fun game, albeit a remake. The whole thing was a mix of good and bad, loved the sprite work and animation however, the game didnt really have space to grow and challenge the player.
The break down:
Graphics: 8
It's sprites, what is there to hate? FPS was good, not an ounce of delay and everything was nice and crisp and clean.
Style: 6
Sorry its a remake and you didnt exactly revolutionize the genre, plus for being mario related tho. It would have been nice to see something original added on, a way to fight back or speed ups perhaps? Also some sort of damage animation would have been nice rather then not noticing when you get hit.
Sound: 5
Its mario music but not sound effects for the game, i dont hear the cannon firing and when i get hit or when the spike hits the ground...
Violence: 2
you get shot by bullet bill and are being pursued by and onslaught of pointy things...not the most gruesome in the universe but still somewhat imitatably violent?
Interactivity: 4
Not enough options, yes I know itsa remake with a different skin, but try to throw your own spin otherwise its just another forgettable entry. I think with some work and a bit more oomph this could be a much more engaging game.

Good job, it was a game that worked well just nothing wow or kickass. I passed it because it was a good piece of work and if you push it further it would have a place as a really fun and original piece that you could call your own. Keep trying mate.

this was a cheap knock-off except there's only one triangle at a time that HONES IN ON YOU which i really f*cking annoying, and then there's that cannon which needs more instruction and the music's kind of mis-suited and loud, which is pretty hard to do for a mario game with mario music, because stick avalanche is more slow than the song.
