Surprising
Even though it was a complete mess in the head sort of thing, it had a meaning, a message in it. In the End I thought it was clever and it was pretty good animation. nice one.
A real thinker
I'm not going to bother critiquing things like the audio and animation quality, because they obviously weren't (at least not consistently) top notch, but it suits it. Whether that was done on purpose or was a happy accident doesn't really matter in my mind.
On to the good part, the story. Watching the first two was a stranger affair, and as you can tell by many of the reviews, people either enjoyed the sick tone of them or hated it. I, personally, enjoyed the departure from the norm, though I'll admit it was damn awkward at points. Had it not been for this last episode I would have finished watching with a sense of something being terribly wrong. The message about cutting in the second one was the only worthwhile thing I took out of it.
But this episode saved it. It gave the other two meaning and purpose, and delivered a message that made a whole lot of sense. Dictator Alfred's monologue was refreshing and releasing, and a sad look at a sadder truth. Sometimes, you just can't deal.
Really deep stuff, and while I'm glad you've put this out there, I hope this isn't based on experience. Yeesh.

Sickly amazing
To be honest, i didnt like Alfred that much, just liked when you make the insanity something really obscure and related to the past and one meets reality, just like the ending of this one, you really are good for that theme, just like Raise of alfred, it had his kinda sick side, but the important thing was the crazyness he showed towards the real things, now i like alfred much more that when i saw the first part of this xD
I loved it.
dictator alfred was an evil yet subtle character.
I loved the series,so twisted but at the end no one could face that reality.
