fun but kinda hard

its fun punching the soldiers and flying but the horse part is were i loose all my health and i have like barely any health wen i fight the mouse king ibeat him tho =)

Not impressed...

As I started to play the game I enjoyed it. However, the first level was very repetitive. Then on the falling level it was so impossible to not get damaged that I just let the Nutcracker fall strait and didn't bother to move him. I enjoyed the bouncing level, although I feel that it was not original as it was the exact same thing as Indestructo Tank, but I enjoyed it. Then the horse level was actually fun once you got the rhythm, however, once you miss a jump, it is hard to get back. Finally, I got to the end boss and I was happy to fight something, until it started spinning... pushed me into the corner and didn't stop until I died and then gave up.

I felt like this game was not tested by a player before it was submitted. It is one thing for a game to be hard, but an entirely different thing for it to not be playable at all.

However, the graphics were well done, and I enjoyed using the Nutcracker for his intended purpose on level 3.

Fairly nice.

Well, great graphics and of course great music. However, although the basic mechanics were fine the falling segment was impossible to not take damage anbd the horse part I understood, you had to jump with the beat of the song, however, sometimes it still felt broken. Besides that it was great.

Wow! Go, Nutcracker, go!

Well, I said I was looking forward to this game, so thank you for not disappointing me! Not only did you manage to get this thing completed and published before Christmas, but the game is very well done! I wasn't kidding last time when I said you could have a future in the gaming industry! This is GREAT!

For the most part, I loved this game, and the positive aspects of it are:
#1. I'm a huge fan of "The Nutcracker," so I loved the theme of this game and I'm also glad you chose the music from the play/ballet/movie to be used in the game. Every song chosen for the game is perfectly suited to the level it's used in. You have good taste!
#2. These graphics are also of a very high quality. Good character design and very nice backgrounds.
#3. The pre-loader is very interesting and manages to keep the player entertained for the few minutes it takes the game to load.
#4. I didn't come across a single bug in the game, so kudos to you for that!
#5. You have different levels so it's not just the same thing over and over again. It would take a long time to get bored of this game. I was a little surprised not to see a boss at the end of every level, though. That might make things even more interesting and challenging.
#6. Unlike other games where you get hit several times and you're dead as fast as that, this protagonist can actually survive taking a few smacks. That's what a real hero is all about! I love it!
#7. It's obvious that a LOT of work went into this project, and believe me, it shows!

The only negative things I could say about this game are:
#1. It doesn't really make sense to me that the Nutcracker Prince is fighting toys in the first level because he's the prince of Toyland. I think it would be more appropriate for him to be fighting rats or other nasty creatures. That's the fanatic in me talking, though!
#2. The falling level is a nightmare. There are times when there is absolutely NOTHING you can do to avoid getting hit. Providing a challenge is one thing, but you should always provide your players with a window of opportunity to avoid taking damage, no matter how small.
#3. The horse is a little too fast to see what you're doing sometimes (but I did like this level).
#4. I think it needs a better ending. Sorry, but that's how I feel. I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't already played/finished the game, but the current ending is so sad and it seems like you're being punished for winning the game as opposed to rewarded.
