Refreshing Point and Click Adventure
Icescape is a unique Point & Click game, in that it not only wants the player to scour the environment for items and think logically about how to use them, but also forces the player to think quickly. The body temperature "timer" is an interesting touch, and although it does get annoying, it at least adds an element of uniqueness. The puzzles are not too tough (although the safe did give me fits the first couple times I tried it) but not too easy (unless you've played through them before), and the graphics are pretty good, although they are limited by a lack of movement. In addition, like most point & click games, it is too short, although it does have some limited replay value. I know there's a sequel, so I'm definitely going to check it out, and hopefully it improves upon the few missteps that Icescape has.
