Reviews for "Gears and Saws"

I Like this!

Wow The Beats is Great! That make me think about 8bit Game or Music.

conorstrejcek responds:

Thanks!

Great

I'm liking this very much. The chord progression reminds me a bit of Muse.

Very nice to hear classical influences in dubstep.

conorstrejcek responds:

Thanks! Muse is one of the big influences on my music, and I love classical music as well - I'm glad to see it showed through in my own music!

Damnn

I really like this. It's got a unique style to it - one that makes it stand out to me. Most people who try to experiment with different types of dubstep fail, but you sir, have definately succeeded. Props on a great track :D
Good luck in the contest ;)

conorstrejcek responds:

Thank you! I'm glad you like the way it turned out.

Good gaming music!

I wasn't so keen on the beginning, but around 1:20 the bassline just blew me away! Very experimental, and you did a nice job of mastering this, considering dubstep is so difficult to master.

Great melody too. 9/10 5/5!

conorstrejcek responds:

Thanks! I definitely was experimenting a lot, I usually don't use so many effects, but with this song I was trying to focus a lot on details. I have also been putting a lot of time into learning mastering techniques, and I think it is starting to show in my music now. It seems like the beginning isn't the favorite of a lot of people, and maybe I should have put more into it, but I was trying to make it a building section - I guess maybe if I had made it shorter it would have been better.

[Title]

When this first started I was very skeptical as to how it would end up. But as it began to progress and finally drop into the full song, I lost my skepticism and gave up full confidence. This is an excellent, excellent take on dubstep. And I'm truly jealous of all the intricacies and wild sounds that are found within.

Normally this would be where I begin criticizing, but I honestly have no comments or suggestions.

Fantastic job!
CHIMERA

P.S - I also have a submission in the dubstep competition, I'd love a review!

conorstrejcek responds:

Thanks! I'll listen to your song right now!
