All hail the Doctor!
I love Doctor Who! However, some of the parts you picked were a bit dull. Haven't watched the first season for a while, but you got the gist of the various episodes. It would be nice if you could getr a "whole point" view.
Also , he's technically the Doctor, not Dr. Who. That's just me being a picky kid with no life.
But overall, I enjoyed it, even if it's only for fans. Oh, and David Tennent is the best Doctor ever!
Yeah, well I was trying to take at least one scene from each serial in the first series but some of the serials are dull anyway so what can I do about that?
And I am well aware that his name is "The Doctor" but in the real show he is credited as "Dr. Who" so go figure.
Anyway I'm glad you like it. It always means more when an actual fan of Doctor Who enjoys this.

Now, I've only seen "An Unearthly Child", "The Daleks", "The Edge of Destruction" and "The Aztecs", but I still enjoyed this.
Only thing I'd suggest is not doing an episode of each season, since the majority of each Doctor's serials are pretty similar. Maybe 1 per Doctor, possibly more for Tom Baker since his first few serials are reminiscent of Pertwee's, some have some of the darkest plots of any Doctor (opium dens in "Talons of Weng-Chiang", anyone?), and the Douglas Adam's era stuff, which is more similar to his Hitchhiker's work, than of the rest of Doctor Who.
Still, whatever you decide to do about more episodes, this was still ace. Great job.
That is true. I think I'll just go along as I am now making one scene from each serial and later if it becomes too samey I might start combining seasons. It's gonna take me a hell of a long time to get that far though considering how long a season takes to watch.
I'm really glad that this flash is not disappointing fans of Doctor Who :)
Doctor Cliff Notes -- excellent
A brilliant, concise synopsis of season one. The timing of pointless screaming is completely true to the episodes. (I'm definitely going to have to get Season One to watch now -- haven't seen this stuff for fifteen years.) "You don't understand... haha, I knew you wouldn't" -- really sets the theme for The Doctor's style, doesn't it? :-)
I like the animation style, the audio was good, and the fact that you include (optional) subtitles is extremely helpful. A possible improvement would be inserting a brief title screen to tell which episode it is, but that could also ruin the flow you currently have.
Can't wait to see following seasons.
You're completely right. I originally wanted to have little titles displaying which episode each part was from but decided against it to keep pace. I also considered having small titles down the bottom but with subtitles as well it would be too distracting.
I'm glad you're enjoying my doctor who flashes here. Season two shouldn't take too long. I am half way through watching season two now and with the holidays I can get a lot done.
