Reviews for "Armor Picross 2"

I love it

When it was released I started to play it, when I stopped I wanted to continue and just now I finished it. It's a very addictive and good game. thanks for hours of my life wasted on this game xD

ORGINAL!!!

one of the best ideas for a game in newgrounds history!!!

most addicting game i've ever played!

Excellent game

Very addictive and often challenging. The last few puzzles in the extreme diff had me scratching my head a bit, had to spend almost twenty minutes solving one of them, which was neat.

I could play this all day long

This is one of the most addicting games I've ever played on NG. It was a little difficult to start because I wasn't used to these kinds of puzzles, but I'm doing expert now in 10-15 minutes. What's great about this game is the fact that you never have to guess. Every level is set up perfectly so that logic is the only thing needed to solve a puzzle.

For those of you stuck on the advanced levels...try to eliminate blocks (draw an x) where a piece couldn't possibly be. If you need a 4, and you have a gap of 2, eliminate the two spaces because the 4 can't fit. A more advanced technique is to take either one single row or column, and look at every possibility that you could have. This works when a row or column will be mostly filled with white squares. With all these possibilities, which squares HAVE to be filled? After nailing down one square, repeat the process. An easy example is this:

You have 10 spaces horizontally and you're given a 4 and a 3. Call these spaces 1-10 from left to right. Look at the possibilities now. You'll see that square 3,4, and 8 need to be filled in. This can then you with the vertical spaces next. Develop these kinds of methods to solve the more difficult ones.

Fucking Great

When the first Armor Picross came out, I was pretty into but I wasn't as mathematically able as I am now, and what a difference it made. You guys took a fairly boring concept and turned it into something beautiful, and that's what it's all about.

First off, I really enjoyed the fluency of my cursor as it ran across the board clicking on tiles and marking others out. I appreciate the little "x" next to the cursor while holding down the Shift button and this caused me great confusion in the first one. As for replay value, I can honestly say that I've never invested this much time into any flash game ever. Every night before bed, I'd tell myself, "Ok, just one", and before I knew it, I'd be sitting here until three in the goddamn morning trying to make cowboys and candlesticks out of small squares. To be completely honest, I've yet to complete the extreme ones, but I'll get there soon. My only complaint is a minor one; the music. The given tracks wouldn't be my first selection of music, although there is an "off" setting (which I selected =D), so you could easily throw your own music on.

With that, good fucking job, lads.
