not bad
It's not perfect yet, but with little improvements (like slowing the ball a bit) and it will be flawless!

Almost
Good job, but trying slowing down the ball.
Not bad
It's 1/2 decent. The physics are correct and the game works nice and smoothly. At end of day is classic arkanoid.
One possible development would be to have the ball travel in different directions depending on where it hits your pad, i.e. control the rebound. The ball was a bit fast too. It's a decent start, but you need to add some of your own creative flair.
Collisions collisions...
It was a halfway decent clone, alhough it really would have made my experience better if the ball didn't really sink into the block, you know? It seems like whenever the ball hits something, it goes into it a little bit and then bounces out- even the paddle. You need to work on making the ball just bounce right off when it collides with blocks. I liked the fact that you had powerups, although they could have better distinction between them... like different pictures or symbols to designate which powerup is which. Overall, a decent effort, but it was just too flawed to make it entireably enjoyable.
Lots of bugs, but not terrible.
Some bugs include;
- The ball bounces of the bottom of a brick, but goes through the top.
- The ball tages dodgy bounces off of the walls.
- You can't change the direction of play; you have to let it touch both walls each time.
Keep working on it, and it could be good.
