Reviews for "[oove] Requiem"

Very original

You deserve a 10 purely for creativity. This is sick! I was intrigued when I read it was an orchestral/dubstep mix, and honestly, a little scared. Before this I had only heard your song Heartbeats, so I didn't know if you could pull off dubstep. You certainly did! Nice job with the panning. The ending is attention grabbing. I like how it breaks down, and then blasts you with awesomeness.

broove responds:

This one is definitely different from Heartbeats :)
Actually I had this idea of mixing classical music and dubstep/drum'n'bass for a long time and although I'm more or less satisfied with this song, there's still so much to be done.
And I'm proud of the ending.
Thank you for an awesome review.

Awesome

I loved the way you mixed strings and smooth sounds with hardcore dubstep, this my awesome friend is downloaded! Keep up the amazing work, I crave for your next song.

Did you happened to get the song name and theme from the game 2moons?

broove responds:

no.

Flawless!

Dude, this is one of my favorite art pieces I've ever seen! I think its strongest point is that it takes its time starting off to becoming more insane. It grows in ridiculousness as it goes on. When I first heard the name "Requiem" I was thinking of the movie "Requiem For A Dream" which was known for its awesome fast paced music. This certainly fit the bill and I love how it changes right before the end. I was expecting sort of a joke to follow, but it simply continued being awesome.

It's songs like this that make you appreciate the existance of instruments like violins. Its tone appears to be one of madness or simply disorder. It has somewhat of a mechanical tone to it as well. The mechanical tone can also shift to become one of technology leading to computers. There is simply a great story to tell here, even though there are no words. It truly gives off the sense that you went on a great journey yourself to make this.

broove responds:

I'm really glad you liked it. Thank you for dropping a review.
