The graphics were borderline, the sound was pretty bad, and i didnt like the story much. but as others have said, good for yur first submission.

This is your FIRST submission? My god. Anyway, the graphics as you said are a little amateurish, I can overlook that though. But the overall feeling and emotion put into this almost overwhelmed me. The story was pretty easy to understand. This makes me wonder what else you have in store. I hope to see this series continue, and good luck with your other projects!
Very good for your first submission.
Despite short and limited, I understood the story easily, and so far the only thing i have ever seen on Newgrounds that made me sad.
Although the music fitted the animation perfectly, the sound effects were very repetitive and some didn't really seem to fit the situation.
The graphics in some places are rather crude but since this is your first submission I won't bother you about them.
Overall amazing work, your place on the front page is well deserved.

For a first-time entry, this is actually quite good. Now, I'll admit, some of the animating is a little crude. But honestly, the story is so riveting that I don't pay much attention to it. Also, the little story of how the Banshee began is quite an interesting one... I hope to see more of your work. Nice job! 5!

I am in awe! first time in the portal and already you have front page! I have seen many new comers to this place but i have never seen a newcomer to the portal on the front page! grats! (Other than the lack of a good storyline [which you just said you will be working on] it was fantastic!)
