Reviews for "Raptek Arena Reloaded"

great game!

great game! fun, and good template.. its a little bit hard. but i like it

It is hard

While it is hard it is still enjoyable but you can only die in the first level for so long before you get tired of it all.

Kelemas responds:

Sorry to hear that... Have you tried Training a bit in training mode? You can't die there, and the enemies are dumb and slow. You can learn to master the controls, which are not really friendly at first (but you can do pretty much damage when you master them!)

Anyway, thank you for the review!

Ranked at #26, as Twad, with 81324 points!

Fun, not too hard, kinda repetitive, not many upgrades.

Archer appear to own.

Kelemas responds:

The archer maybe is the easiest character to play, but if you use the "shoot and run" tactic you don't make many points, and it is quite boring! Warrior and Wizard are the characters that grants the longest combos!

Needs different controls man...

It looks and is fun, but it's imposible to beat the first level with a friggin lap top, please fix it so its like Z or X or something to attack and it aoutomaticaly aims, or something, cuz it is impossible to play on lap top. Also, maybe have te shop AT THE START, so you can buy stuff before your battles, need to be prepared for these kindsa things.

Kelemas responds:

I've asked via PM someone with a laptop to suggest some key configuration that could work easily... if you want to partecipate, write me via PM!
As for the shop at the start... sorry but i prefer to keep it after... Using the right personalization to suit your style is better tha any weapon: try to follow the suggestion that are in previous comments, nd you'll find money pretty useless :)

A Great Game

This game was really good. Having the different classes is a great feature, allowing people to choose a character that can fit to their fighting style. I also like the idea of having a selection as to where to put your ability points after each level. What I would suggest is a possible formation that the monsters could go into for defensive or offensive attacks. For example, if you were to attack the monsters, the melee monsters would go straight for you, while the ranged monsters would shoot at you while moving away from you. This would prevent the player from continuously going in a counterclockwise fashion around the arena, prevent himself from all ranged damage. Nonetheless, smooth gameplay, and kept me playing for a few hours...

That is, until it crashed. Even after refreshing my browser cookies and cache, the game always seemed to crash on me after level 14. It didn't matter what class I had, but it crashed. Minor disappointment that I am looking forward to getting fixed.

If you can fix the issue of it crashing, as well as adding a little bit more strategy regarding enemy formations, I will be back at this game for some more hours.

Kelemas responds:

Thank you for the suggestions!
The enemy AI is already something similar: if you watch closer, some archers simply stop as soon as they are in range to hit you, while others strafe. And if you try to approach them, you'll notice that they try to avoid you (slowly, 'cause they are moving backward).
But obviously you find it not enough... :) I'll try to make it better in the future!
As for the crash, it is a well known issue in version 1.6, as you can read in previous comments. I've already submitted a new version to NG, but it's waiting the staff approval and pending.
If you want, you can find the latest version on kongregate or on a page I've put up for the game: http://www.circolofantasy.com/arena
Thank you again!
