Nicely done.
I'm not familiar with the tale behind this flash at all, but the artwork is amazing, and I can tell alot of effort was put into making this flash.

Noice!
This is a really good movie, I just wish it was longer!!! The animation itself is pretty jerky, but that's some of the best art I've seen in a flash movie in a while! It might be better if there was some explanation, too, but it's very intruiging as a standalone as well.
Keep Working At It
Your graphics are impressive and it's obvious you're new to Flash.
Things to keep in mind:
- Stay aware of your backgrounds. Put them all on one layer and put nothing on top of them. Move things around on other layers. This will keep your background from moving when it shouldn't.
- Keep your backgrounds covering the ENTIRE viewing area. Many times I could see on the sides of your backgrounds.
- Animate at a higher frame rate and use tweens when you need to as moving the same symbol around makes it choppy when it should be smooth.
