Reviews for "Turkey Shooter 3D"

Quirky and Fun

I love it! I don't know what it is, but something about actually being able to run around a map and do things is exciting. A lot of shooter games require standing in one place, and moving a cursor around the screen in hopes of shooting some fast moving object... but this is definitely a fun take on it, and is executed simply but well. Kudos to your use of 3d, I am sure it was a lot more work then it appears to be :).

The work on the game itself wasn't too hard but making the initial 3D game engine some time back was hard, so overall, yeah, it was hard work. And thank you, jmtb02 for your comments. I will be adding more depth in future 3D games!

Nice

This game was actually fun to play i got up to level 7 w. no misses. Good work

Whuaa...

That whas pretty cool to pass some time the 9 is for the originality (i think)

Good work

This has got to be the cheatiest form of 3D around, but it works quite well. Maybe in later versions you may want to have some sort of system where the floor sprites adjust viewing angle just like the turkeys. Or perhaps you could just use a slightly higher-res sprite. The trees and bushes look just fine how they are though. If Mario 64 can get away with it, so can you.
In later versions you should include some flying turkeys as well, there was very little purpose to aiming upwards in this version so later versions need to make use of this feature. Looking forwards to updates to this, could turn out to be something special.

josh-tamugaia responds:

That is EXACTLY what I have in mind, except one thing. I am not gonna use sprites in my next 3D game, that is if I succeed in making one. I will be using real 3D polygons in flash with textures. I have found a way to do it. thanks plank

well...

its a real good idea, but too.. "spritey" and, well.. spin in place, spin in place. :/
