Reviews for "A Dragon's Revenge"

Excellant!

-What else could I say? I love the new shadow, just as Eagle and I thought.

HWM is right, rather than a neat little list of improvements, the Authors Notes sound like a desperate plea. Change that first sentance now. I am amused to notice, for the first time the shadow of the old castle behind the new one- I don't suppose anyone else would notice tho-
Its all good. Your place in the Dragon/Spirit Continuum is assured, with our thanks!

OxSox responds:

Hahaha yeah, the wind mill shadow is of the old windmill too actually. I changed the first sentence less desperate, maybe?

Well the movie was okay,

But the description wasn't. By justifying your "right" to re-submit, you automatically antagonize an armada of voters, hereby immensely lowering your score. By trying to cover for yourself, you killed your own score instead.

It was better without.

Also, the book in the beginning is really blurry. Fix that first impression.

OxSox responds:

Well, I guess it's a bit late to really fix it. I should have run it by ice first I suppose. You know what though, I don't care too much about the low score, the reason I undertook this project to begin with is to become a better animator and I feel like I've done that. I'm quite confident the next thing I do is going to score much better because of what I've learned from this project. And next time I'll try not to piss of my target audience so much in the authors notes. I hope that you'll be able to give me your input on future projects as well.

Very nice!

That was really funny and nicely drawn story, the beginning where the man reads the book is kinda useless with the story, but is a good intro.
You should make it better animation when the castle burns down, but I think you made it in purpose like that so it would look more hilarious.
Make it longer and longer, add there a little fight or something and your on your way to frontpage!

Mutantspider: My 96th review! Yeah!

OxSox responds:

Thanks for the review. I guess it is kinda silly that the fireball could destroy the castle that quickly, but I it was meant to, I guess, kinda exaggerate the power of the fireball/dragon. Also, call me a traditionalist, but I feel that movies need more plot than dragon blows up castle for no real reason. I'm not editing this movie again, but I hope that my next movie will be better and perhaps a bit more to your liking.

Well...

You got the story of a good fairy tail, but the art of a 3 year old.
And the ending was really stupid.

OxSox responds:

Look I'm sorry, your entitled to your opinion and all, but I've shown this flash in a lesser version to many people, have gotten many criticisms, and you are the only person I've ever heard who felt that the ending was stupid. IMO the ending is the best part of the flash. If you'd like to PM and tell me which pictures or animations need improvement I'd actually be quite willing to hear it, but as you can see not everyone agrees with you on the art aspect.

A bit strange

Everything good. Except this: You don't think which Is a little strange which a fireball destroy a kingdon in 1 second? And the knight with no head. How he's head has cutted?

OxSox responds:

No head? If your referring to the last scene, it's just suppose to be his hair blowing in the wind. I'd like to think his head is attached to the hair.
