Eh.. Could do with some work
I feel a lot more work could've gone into the fight system. The controls and combos were way too simple and the game required relatively little skill, which is fine if you're trying to appeal casual gamers- but i'm not one. I appreciate that the graphics were meant to be blocky in the style of sprites of way back, but what the game was lacking in gameplay it certainly didn't make up for in visuals. If you are going to make another game like this, i'd suggest spending more time on the controls/fighting and to add a bit more variation, games grow tiresome fast when all you're doing is hitting a couple of keys and all the enemies do is simply swarm you. I feel that, with some more care and work, that this game could be much better.
