i never play games
i usually never play games like this,but this one is really addictive! (if your ball gets stuck on the 5th level like mine dick rightclick hit play,the ball will stop.hit play again and wham-o your back in the game) i can't wait for more stuff and i really liked how the music changed when the ball got faster (maybe you might want to make both power-ups work at the same time?)

hehe you put in all the improvements on my wishlist. As a result it looks much better. Good job getting the music to change when the ball gets fast. Powerups are good too. Other reviewers noted that the framerate was a bit low when the ball was slow, something to do with the script being based around framerate. Bit of a frown there. Keep refining it, make the start page a bit neater. Its coming along great.
Kick Ass Scripting , But....
Massive respect for the Kick ass script, Great work, I dont think there is a single bloody bug in it.
Still, Its way to easy and the game frame rate is ugly, I know you based the script on frame rate, But then the game loss all its "smothness" and reminds me of my poor zx80 when i Used to override it :)
another thing, the game is too easy :)
can you make it harder? (dont just rise the speed).
anyway , Great work , Improve the graphix , and you will have a great game.

I beat it and had fun the whole thing through, you should make it so you only have a certain amount of lives, and there are more levels and power ups, such as a power up that makes your ball go through everything for lets say 10 seconds without stopping, or bouncing (except for walls and your paddle) destroying everything in its path. excellent game, I hope you make more so I can have just as much fun as I did this time, p.s. another excellent version of breakout is at freearcade.com youll find it peace
