Great concept, great execution
Seriously. Graphics all in numbers and pixellated? 8-bit music? Negative-shift rifts? You really have this computer thing going on, and I say it works well. The only problem was that the core gameplay quickly got boring and I moved on. Perhaps you could add more things going on as you reached higher levels - Matrix type columns of numbers in the background, representing background processes? Upgrades to your ship over time, creating bigger and more elaborate designs? Perhaps even have anti-antivirus subroutines which home at you and attempt to attack you before flying past? I dunno, but this eye candy is really the only thing you have going for Breach after a while, and adding more of the eye candy and a tad more gameplay couldn't go wrong.
