Oh gosh.

Oh gosh. Oh yep, this is quite hard.
Multiple enemies from the front, back and above doesn't exactly help. The horse can't attack them all at once, neither can the woodcutter without getting hurt.
I say that stay still, jump, go backwards or attack to avoid these idiotic monster attacks before killing them. xD;
But it's really a good game with a great story.

Suggestions:
Save points. Either from a menu or pass new parts of the story.
Get attacked once, blink for a second to avoid repeated damage.
Maybe pickups for more weapons like guns, torches or magics?

Thanks for the insight. Yep, it would seem difficulty and save points are the biggest concern so far amongst the masses. I thought the game was short enough to have save points only after every level, but maybe not. Glad you liked the story!

Amazing but way too hard

This game had fantastic animation and style. It fit the story perfectly, it was truly an artistic masterpiece. Only problem was that while the gameplay was extremely smooth, it was just so damn hard. That huge monster on the undead level? I'm convinced it's completely impossible to get past it!!! Gah! How frustrating.

This would be like the best game ever if you fixed the level of difficulty.

Yeah, to enhance my ability to do combat right is definitely my next priority in my next game. Oh, and read the walkthrough on my userpage to get past that otherworldly demon.

Great game, man!

This was a great 2D scroller game, and I like how you made the layers in the Dark Forest. Even though that's how far I got until I had to go somewhere, I bet the rest of the game is just as good and/or even better. Great game once again, man! 10/10 :D

The story is just great. The graphics are dark and gloomy and the rest of the features make it awsome! It's a bit hard sometimes though. Nice job 5/5 10/10

Its weird that some people still find this game on Newgrounds. How did you find it hidden away under all the rest of the games? Anyway, Im so glad you did and that you liked it. This game has a special place in my heart. I dont log in as SecretSecretary anymore, because I have a new account called SeethingSwarm and there I will upload all my new stuff.
