Great base
I got a serious Diablo 2 vibe from this. Good graphics, very fluid, no problems with the aiming system... this is an excellent foundation.
As for what stands to be improved... a pause button is very important. Also, I'd like to see a roll/backstep command, something to move the player quickly for a second. Other than that, basic expansion like more weapons/maps/enemies could help. Great job, though!

if u could get more weapons and magic abilitys it would be a lot better

i like the sound that you are going to expand and you were asking for some advice i sugest maybe a bigger screan and perhaps some skills or something and definatelly alot more wepon types
u should be king of zombies if u keep makin this..
tight game wish there was more weps then 3 ( or more i havent gotten father then 164 zombies) and the names of the weps could use a little more improv and mabye a little more blood (or less for ppl that think blood is gross) other then that the controls and movement is great and if u can make the reload time a lil shorter not for me but for everyone. :) WE SUPPORT U @ CONTINUE MAKIN GAMES LIK THIS!

Pretty boring and slow. Looks alright, but doesn't really do anything amazingly well. Not a bad game by any stretch (particularly not by Newgrounds standards), but I don't think I could give it more than a 5 based on the fact that I had literally no fun at all playing it.
