Reviews for "Dead Frontier: Night One"

So yeah...

I gotta agree with the guy below me. Movement in the game really blew. There's so much in the way, that getting trapped is considerably too easy. Add the almost complete inability to acquire any ammo when it's really needed and the game takes a nose-dive. I would have loved playing it, especially given the graphics and sound being nearly impeccible for a flash game, but the actual gameplay made it rough.

I do love the graphics and all...

But the movement and confined space just kills me. Ammo is quite scarce and mobility is very low and you get stuck easily on things which I find strange because it felt like an invisible wall was in front of me.

real nice

it defenetly needs some chechpoints somewhere in the game and a larger area with more maps. a friend to help kill the zombies would be nice as an adition in later versions

alright

Something was missing...More guns, more blood, more stages, not just some cottage the whole time, and you should be able to go outside or something. overall, though, it was a pretty good game.

Nice.

Ammo wasnt much of a problem. I was down to my last mag about 15 secodns after I grabbed up the MP5a4, but a bit of care ensured I had enough ammo to last out.

It was great for the first 5 minutes or so, then it just got monotonous. The enemies only became harder as I became more and more tired of it, so it quickly began testing my patience rather than my skill. But I shouldnt knock your game for my lack of patience.

Needs more option in the way you handle yourself. I suppose being the first night right after the entire squad was ambushed gives you little time to prepare yourself, so it was good for a first time thing.

In ways of "handling yourself" I have a few suggestions.

1. funneling zombies somehow into a chokepoint via obstructions.
2. traps.
3. maybe additional survivors.
4. fallback points or additional barricades to move to once youve been overrun.
5. maybe a daylight mode kind of thing where you hop around a small town looking for ammo and weapons and other survivors before night falls again.

Looking forward to the second.
