Not bad at all.
I hardley ever play flash games. So for me to have played this all the way through says something. I really liked the theme and the game play wasn't bad at all. It's all about the machine gun though. Put it in the bottem left corner where it's generaly left alone and a tough cannon in the front to soak up the damage and you're set (with health buffer as soon as you can get it). The trick is to know how to lead a target and shoot where they will be rather then where they are. Send out a steady stream and let them wander into it rather then trying to chase them all over the map. Other then that and the passive buffers all I really used was the lighting gun when I got a swarm and my cannon in the front on the finnal boss fight. Since after clearing the swarm I didn't have to worry about missing the mothership and needed the extra damage output.

The aiming takes a bit of getting use to however this just adds to the game. Very well done however i also had a sound problem.

This is one fo the greatest games on the internet... you have created your own world which is seen through the graphics gameplay and originality of your creations... man the internet is getting good

I like this game a lot. I only wish the sound worked properly. I don't know if it's a bug or my mac, but all I hear is the music and nothing else. I tried turning off the music, and still no sound.
I don't think you would make a silent game, and then have an option for turning the sound on and off, when there isn't any sound. I'll try updating my version of flash, maybe that will fix it.
Other than that, GREAT GAME!
(I'd have given it a ten, but no sound. I did give it a 5 vote though...)
