Reviews for "5 Differences"

Wow

This game was pretty incredible. Aside from the ingenious placements of differences, the art and scenery was powerful. Overall, it was very beautiful.

I did, after 30-ish minutes beat it. I'll confess I clicked madly once or twice. The only critique I can think (other than PLEASE make another) would be to add some music. Personally I had Kings of Convenience playing, seemed to fit nicely.

Fantastic job, Case. This was really so much more than I would have thought a "Spot The Difference" game could've been. Great work.

Ivorydrive responds:

Nice music choice. they're actually not too bad. mellow enough to indulge the creepy side of the game, but cheerful enough to make it more fun.

I was going to go with something really slow by massive attack, or nine inch nails, or even one of the creepy songs from sigur ros.

you know... if enough people keep asking for a sequel, you might actually get one...

Hard But Fun

I liked it and i beated it...but what i saw different was dat i think u had 2 Scenes..of Safe Driving...And 2 scene with the Eye,2 scenes at the park ( or 3 counting the Hippy and Guitar thingy),And 2 buildings Scenes too..Overall...10/10

Ivorydrive responds:

heh, I never realized I had two scenes advocating safe driving. that's funny. not that I'm for driving all crazy, but both of those were meant as a joke ;-)

Great.

The imagery in this game was flawless and the animation was beautiful.
It was the perfect level of difficulty also.

~Night-Ranger

That was great.

This is a game that you can easily find yourself lost in, whether it be by the grasping art or the complicated puzzles. Also, I like the Radiohead reference (to the song "Fitter, Happier") in the fourth level.

Ivorydrive responds:

"The others were downstairs, 'rockin', and I crept upstairs and did this in ten minutes. I was feeling incredible hysteria and panic, and it was so liberating to give the lyrics to this neutral-sounding computer. I had about three months where I couldn't write anything, but I constantly had lists. Then I realised that it was the only way I was going to say what I needed to say. Sometimes, before you have a genuine feeling it is circumvented by the outside, your brain is apologising for things that haven't even happened yet. But me, I listen to the piano bit." - Thom Yorke

Simply great!

Everything was beautiful, the art, the detail, the subtle animations. Fantastic work my friend.

I work with this professor here in my campus and one of the things I have to do is to compare an observation image (taken by a telescope) of some object in the sky, to a previously taken image, to notice for differences and see if there are any new stars. This flash is certainly great practice for that, and I might just recommend it to a couple of my colleagues. Thanks!

The only thing that I didn't like about it was that no-one accepted the one lady's offer for a free hug =(.
