Reviews for "Animals"

Great, Mind boggling

My thought would be, the elevator part is him going up to some kind of limbo. When he finally reaches there, god/him is reviewing his life/death. He killed himself presumably because of a failed marriage (i.e. you saw his ring) and you saw him jump off a bridge. Although commiting suicide is a sin, god maybe deciding where he goes? Am i close?

nice

good artistic way to get a message out. the message i got from it was that no matter how good you think the life you lead is, its never enough. basically the road to hell is paved with good intentions. let me know if im close.

You're style's amazing

There's definitely no surprise on how much time you spent on this. Very well done, the animation is superb, and the message.... Well I'd like you to get back to me on this, but the only thing I can gather is a man that realizes the world he's in is a never ending plane of conformity. No matter where he turned, there was always a higher power telling him what to do. I'm thinking it's a shot in the dark, but that's mostly what I got from it, but like I said please get back to me on it I'd love to hear your input.

Interesting

Certainly interesting, yes yes...interesting indeed. My guess--and that's all it can be said to be--would be that....this man either lost a child (or it might not have even been his?) due to his negligence, or perhaps he did a terrible thing and actually was the murderer? At any rate, he does as many people do...turns to God (or god, or a god) for relief and the 'answer'. He does not find either, and thus he turns away (the cross falling behind him, as he walks away)...God failed him. And so, with nothing left, he jumps off the bridge, ending his life. So, the lift, and the ferries, and the elevator would be a strange sort of afterlife...and I believe, specifically, everyone seen has commited suicide. Thus their interesting ferries....barbed wire, and--if I am not mistaken--was that a razor blade above each? Anyways...they are taken to the elevator (though it is so gloomy because, religiously, suicide means damnation, so it is assumed they have but one destination)...however....he gets to go up? As in...he is saved?
In the end....can one be forgiven? If I am not completely wrong....it seems, from this film, yes. Yes, one can.

Great job...animation is different, which is good. Music is also very nice. I'm no expert, but I say good work on the flash.
A nine...why a nine?...oh, yes, because to the general audience, this might not appeal....and it might confuse.

Very Good

I liked this a lot... I couldn't grasp the story though. My guess is that he was going through judgment and when there was an arrow with a sign that said "Up", I thought it meant he past judgment. Am I correct?
