Reviews for "Animals"

hard to interpritate

I believe the story goes, as I got the feeling through the short, something like this.
Somewhere in the past someone died who was loved by this guy. he was suffering because of that. He was thinking for himself as "the saviour" - the crosses indicate he wanted to die to save others. The cages were just a good scene to put it into the short - though it could mean people must move on with their lifes with random people who drag you along wherever they go. Those elevators and up arrows meant hope for going into heaven after death - wheter for him or for the one who died (I pressume that because it looks religious because of the crosses). minus one because the symbols could be clearer - such modern art is really hard to interpritate, but that's the beauty because individuals can understand it in their own way.

btw sry for my misspealing.

ps: I really want to know if I did a good review of it - or was I completely wrong? (:

AtmosGames responds:

like you said, individuals can understand it in their own way. so your review was adequate, but it's not what I got out of it. ;)

Silently Powerful

The music, art style, and deep hidden message all tie together to produce a beautiful animation.
I really have to say this is incredible. Like 'Strawberryfi' stated, this is Art.

I think I understood the message of the movie when a saw the scene of a person falling from a bridge, maybe indicating suicide. The elevator, people leaving, the cross, all give me the feeling that this is about death and path we take; either going UP or DOWN.

I powerful movie that does what all "Art" should make us do; Think.

This is ART

Well, this is great flash movie. It has all what one great short should have: symbols and signs, great graphics etc. This is real art.
Theology is theology and whatever you meant morally this was your freedom to do so, but you did great job by expressing it. However hell, God and other theological terms aren't from this world. So they are symbols expressing something you can't see, touch or see with your six senses. We never know how these things look like but I believe in existence of those things. Of course it might be not the way that we imagine them basing on famous painters fantasies (NOT on scriptures, Quran, Bible etc). I'm even sure that those things are nothing like those paintings, descriptions etc. But hell can be just a symbol to depict something in this world too so does cross (suffering for example). We'll never know what was the exact point what you meant.
Anyway, great job! I won't give you less points just because I don't know what was the exact meaning or if I don't agree on that. It was exciting, so continue doing that kind of shorts.
