I'm not having problems with anyother NG game but after the 3rd attempt to connect still no joy. Is this broken?

Lovely game back when it was supported.
To anyone who still wishes to play, right-click and press "Quit to menu" to get past the failed-to-connect screen [Single player non-save only =(]
