My ears just exploded from the awesome

I remember when I first got this game. Gold was the very first game I ever owned, and my first Pokemon was Feraligatr. He was the only pokemon I would ever train and the first time I heard this song I heard this song I was in awe. As my beloved Feraligatr ferociously battled the dragon master, the music fit perfectly. Listening to this song, that first battle comes back to mind, only with 10 times the power. You sir have brought the wonder of my childhood back, and I thank you. On a side note this sounds way better than the Heartgold/SoulSilver version

Teh synth

The synth sounded stronger in the beginning, I would have liked it if the synth kept some of that strength during the solos after 2:27 and 2:43. The spacey sound effects on the guitar at 2:37 and the panning around 3:05 came thiiiiss close to being a turn off but in the end they weren't.

I would have liked to have brought out the synths more often in the mix, but I tried to keep most everybody happy with the way it sounds. Some people like the synths, some people like the metal and guitars. So I had to find a balance that would make most everyone happy. It's something I have to do in a lot of my covers is find that balance. It's really difficult sometimes, but I do try way freakin' hard.

Lol when I was in 2nd Grade, Pokemon Gold & Silver hadn't even come out yet.

Does that make me old? Probably. Depends on whether you consider 20 to be old or not.
