Not too shabby, Sir.

I will have to agree with other reviewers on this one. It would've scored higher if it was longer.

Also, despite the animations being near perfect, there was one noticable flaw: The Rebel's gunfire. The bullets stopped and disappeared after a certain distance, no where close to the soldiers. Obviously that's how far it went in the litttle sprite animation you most likely had. (Or found on a site somewhere.) Basically, it needs to be fixed so the bullets leave 'off stage', so it looks like they're missing.

That, and I thought the planes had an attacking animation to them? I could be mistaking them for the drivable ones...

Summary:
Good start, animations have noticable flaws. 7/10

Cool but...

Pretty cool but you shouldn't use pre animated sprites.They always make good animations have crappy parts.You should use sprite sheets instead.I find them easier and they always end up looking better than the pre animated ones.

Anyway,would you like to join the Metal Slug Collab? ;)

hehe, no not really I find the pre-animated ones easy to use.
As for joining the collab I might. It really depends on the time I have.. When I make a animation with sprits. I spend alot of time on details... just go to my website. and see the one I have on the front page..pretty sweet ;) thats about 25 hours of work and its only 2 minutes long. lmao

SNK isn't that petty! Forget about it, you can use the fucking sprites, Why do you have em in the first place if you can't use them? So shut up, it was cool, the rebels shots should have been edited out. Plus the helecopter would have crashed not exploded and disappeared.

omg, why you have to use the spirites from the Metal Slug Database? You should have create your own spirites with Photoshop. But I think your film is quite nice, the only bad thing is you copy spirites from out website.
